“I am not even sure why I have this pain” is a common statement I hear. “I must have slept wrong or I just over did it” are also common responses to my quest of what caused your pain.
The truth is that there are only 3 causes of any disease including your back pain, neck pain, headache etc. My pain relief approach can help people with acute (new) injuries and chronic (reoccurring) conditions by addressing your true underlying cause.
Cause #1: PHYSICAL STRESS. This is what most people try to address in getting relief. They typically think back to what they were doing when the pain started and label that as the cause. The reality is that the condition could have been building for a long time and the final action was the proverbial “The straw that broke the camel’s back” that becomes associated as the cause. Believe it or not many of the problems we have started as a child from the 1000+ traumas children have growing up causing weakened or vulnerable areas that go undetected until later in life. How many times did you land on your butt just learning to walk, which could have been the beginning. Then you throw in there some pillow fights, accidents, sports, back packs, hunched over books, etc. Then we add in all the physical bad ergonomics, repetitive habit patterns and traumas as an adult, it is amazing our joints do as well as they do.
Cause #2: EMOTIONAL STRESS. Stress is not because it causes anxiety. It is destructive because of the hormones secreted by the adrenal glands of the body. These hormones change your body’s biochemistry and can lead to high blood pressure, heart disease, reduced immunity, women’s hormone problems, digestive problems, arthritis, inflammation, etc. Of course, the emotional stress can be expressed in the physical body as pain by aggravating the weakened area. I have some simple ways that effective tests to determine if your body is handling the stress or not. I have also incorporated some very effective strategies to counteract the biochemical changes from stress since you can’t get away from all emotional stressors.
Cause #3: CHEMICAL STRESS. Most people are exposed to about 82,000 foreign chemicals each year. When taken into the body, the body neutralizes them in different ways. Unfortunately, if our body has areas of dysfunction, these chemicals can create all kinds of health problems including pain. I have developed strategies to help detect these problems and created methods to help you and your body function and feel better.
The bottom line is your underlying cause may simply be a be an easy fix just from “sleeping wrong” or you may have some underlying deeper causes. These underlying, gradual, or unknown causes are considered an insidious onset.
