WOW, I can’t believe we just experienced another Valentines Day. As we all say, I can’t believe how fast time flies. I always say it must be that we are having fun, because time always passes faster when we are having fun.
One thing that I have learned in regards to time is that “We always have enough time to get done what’s most important to us”. This means that we will never get everything finished, but if we practice prioritizing what is most important to us and focus on accomplishing those things, our life will continue to improve. I find most people spin their wheels or chase their tails getting low priority items off their list which never moves them forward in accomplishing their bigger goals in life.
Prioritize your “to do” list with 1 – 2 – 3’s and focus on your 1’s day in and day out!
Valentines day also reminds me of “Doctors with a Heart”. I have been committed to being one of the doctors that truly is dedicated to helping the community become more well. Doctors sometimes have got a bad wrap about not really caring about their patients. I believe most doctors got in to healthcare because they truly want to help people, but sometimes get side tracked with many obstacles that doctors face with compliance, finances, insurance headaches, staffing etc. This is no excuse and that is why “Doctors with a Heart” started. Letting dedicated doctors give back to the people of the community in various ways. I have continued to be involved by providing free service days, monthly community outreach programs and training other doctors to do the same all across the United States.
(If you have a group or organization or workplace that would like to receive no cost benefits of these outreaches, let Dr. Burr know.)
The 3rd thing I think of during the “Heart” of Valentines Day is our own heart heath. Let face the facts 95% of Americans are going to die from 1 of 3 things and Cardiovascular is Number 1 on that list for both men and women. Learn to take to care of your heart and you can help prevent premature death, aging, and disability.
While we are not cardiologists here, we help a lot of people improve their wellness factor when it comes to heart health. We see people get off their medications in conjunction with their doctor, improve their endurance, breathing, and overall condition. We help improve people’s lifestyle with fast and healthy pain relief care, but we literally save lives with our Get Healthy/Weight Loss Programs.
As a doctor with a heart, I invite you to talk to me personally anytime in regards to pain that you may be experiencing, weight that you want to lose, or how to get more heart healthy. I never charge for a consultation to discuss whether I can help you or not.
Always make your health a Number 1 when prioritizing your day. We see so many people that take their health for granted until they have a crisis. Don’t fall victim to the “American way” to thinking when it comes to healthcare, be proactive it always saves you suffering, time and money.
